Local Government
Crafting an environment that not only met the exacting demands of council staff but also fostered efficiency and well-being across diverse work zones was a challenge embraced with both strategic insight and practical execution. Our collaboration with council project officers, spanning from 2023, focassed on transforming administrative offices into highly functional and adaptive spaces.
Seizing on the opportunity to bring considered design to life, we addressed:
• Adaptive workstation solutions: Supplying 255 sit-to-stand workstations with integrated soft wiring for comfort and connectivity.
• Dynamic collaboration and respite areas: Introducing a range of lounge and meeting room seating, versatile stools, and both standard and standing-height tables to support varied work styles.
• Enhanced focus and acoustic comfort: Strategically placing privacy pods and sound baffles to create quiet zones within a bustling environment.
A smaller but crucial phase of the project, covering customer service call centre and community care, saw the successful delivery of 150 sit-to-stand workstations, formal and informal meeting spaces, privacy pods, and breakout zones. This phased approach ensured seamless integration with council’s existing operations and a smooth transition to a truly attuned and contemporary working environment.
