Eastern Commercial Furniture (ecf), including its divisions Healthcare Furniture Australia and Office Expo Design & Construction, is bound by and committed to supporting the National Privacy Principles (NPPs). The objective of ecf is both to support and to ensure that it complies with the NPPs that form the basis of laws introduced to strengthen privacy protection for the general public. ecf deals primarily with companies and organisations and, on a smaller scale, with individual members of the public.

ecf will receive and store information you provide. The main purpose of collecting this information is to fully understand your furniture requirements and to provide you with the products you have requested. Information collected is of a non-sensitive nature and generally includes your name, address and contact numbers for delivery and billing purposes. This information is not disclosed to any third party other than those involved in supplying your furniture, such as subcontractors and delivery personnel, and is used by ecf solely to service your immediate furniture requirements or to inform you in the future of new products that are available.

We provide training to educate our employees about the meaning and requirements of the ecf privacy policy.

We will retain information for as long as it is necessary to service your account or to continue to provide products and services you have requested.
