Cabrini Hospital, Gandel Wing

HFA were proud to work with Cabrini Hospital and Bates Smart assisting in the creation of the new Gandel Wing, at Cabrini Malvern, the seven storey building will accommodate a broad range of services including cancer, cardiac, maternity, geriatric care, emergency and infectious diseases. The hospital combines state of the art technology with clean design lines. Patients rooms feature automatically adjustable lighting, heating and cooling while natural materials like timber panelling was used to give patient rooms a warmer feel and hide equipment. Lush planting was created around the perimeter of the building allowing all rooms to look out onto a green space. We supplied a range of furniture including a custom bedside table incorporating swing away tablets, Stirling patient chairs and custom coffee and meeting tables made to suit specific requirements. Sedus Turn Around stools and Quarterback task seating were used in the office spaces along with the Shift fixed height and sit to stand workstations.
