John William Bennett

Graduating from Leeds University in Furniture Design 1980, and from the Royal College of Art in London 1983 with a Masters Degree in Furniture. Since then John Bennett has been working in Italy as a freelance designer collaborating with companies world wide. Working with international designers and companies including Claudio Bellini, Sir Norman Foster & Partners, Tecno, Marcatré and Planula. With designs and products exhibited at numerous fairs and events around the world including Milan Fair, “Form & Function. Work in Progress” at London Science Museum, MIFF and others. As well as selection for Italy’s design award Compass D’Oro and “Good Design 2000”, The Chicago Athenaeum Selected for “ADI Design Index 1998 / 99” “and “Best of NeoCon Competition”, Editor’s Choice Award. John Bennett continues the good design he is respected for with the Delta chair.
