With 2019 just around the corner, let’s take some take a time to reflect on 2018, the business and the fun we had a long the way. It’s been another fabulous year during which we have had the opportunity to collaborate with many fantastic people, deliver great projects, participate in various events, provide sponsorship and support to our community and introduce more exciting and innovative products to our range.
We have welcomed three new team members during the year with Tom joining the business support team and Belinda and Karli, the commercial sales team. Our extended family also welcomed delightful Baby Tim Xiang, son of Eva, and Wilson the very cute pug ‘Furbaby’ of Luke. We have an amazing team at ECF who love what they do and take the responsibility of providing the best solutions for clients very seriously, ensuring we deliver the best outcomes for their projects. We do however ensure we enjoy ourselves in the process as you can see when we welcomed Santa to the office just recently.
We have had the pleasure of being involved in many great projects this year ranging in size, complexity and nature. Our website displays a range of our projects but some notable ones throughout the year were Nestle (NSW & NZ), Yamaha, Civilex, Healthscope Northern Beaches Hospital, Mercy Ballarat and Bluecross Box Hill. Yamaha Music’s Head Office Fit Out won Silver at the 2018 Melbourne Design Awards in the category Interior Design – Corporate and Commercial.
Throughout the year we have participated in many events and provided sponsorship to our wider community. Events included seminars that contributed to the continuous personal development of our team and others, charitable support and events where our organization and our products received recognition and industry events. These included supporting RSPCA and Buy-a- Bale through charitable donations, RMIT Index and AIS Equinox as sponsors, delivering a CPD presentation at the Innovation in Aged Care Design CPD seminar held at our office and various Institute of Managers and Leaders (IML) events including the end of year celebration where ECF received recognition for 20 years of membership with the Institute. ECF also visited Orgatec this year where the theme was ‘culture@work’ and saw many great new and innovative products some of which we hope to introduce you to in 2019.
In 2018 we continued to further develop our range of Australian manufactured products and complement these with international products. The Framery acoustic booth range saw the addition of the Framery 2Q and the addition of teleconference capabilities to the Framery O and our Sedus range saw the launch of the se:flex, se:motion and se:fit. The +Halle product range was added to our offering as was Hush, Grace and Kelly to name but a few. We were delighted that two of our product ranges received awards at the Australian Good Design Awards with the Jumpseat by Sedia Systems winning Best in Class and the Framery, Winner in the Product Design Category.
As the year comes to an end, I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the ecf/HFA team to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the year and wish you all a safe and happy festive season.
